The statement that Barack Obama was not saluting the flag on Veterans Day, 2009 is BOGUS!

Among the things I have learned while authoring for and maintaining this site, is that along with all the good stuff, there is also a lot of BS circulating on the Internet. I am trying to be polite about it, calling it BS, but it is disheartening that so much stuff gets thrown out there, gets picked up by the gullible or those who just want to believe or even the well intentioned, and then it gets recycled over and over.
Yeah, I know, I should not stroke over what I cannot change. I should just accept that they are lying, perverted, non-bathing, scum sucking yellow dogs who masquerade as human beings who compose this stuff but it still pisses me off. It is time consuming to debunk and actually plays into the hand of those we oppose. We are easily dismissed with, “They are proven liars, see here and here, so this is just another example of those who oppose our dear messiah, Obama. Obviously they are lying, perverted, non-bathing, scum sucking yellow dogs.” Okay, I feel a little better. Here is the latest example of BS re: BHO.
I received the following email from a well meaning friend and a friend of the cause. I can only hope that they sent it to me before they passed it around the Internet. It was supposedly concerning last week’s Veterans Day ceremonies:
Subject: Picture from yesterday’s Veterans Day Ceremony
He can’t bring himself to salute our flag, but has no issue bowing to the Emperor of Japan! What gives?
Check out this latest picture from this past Veterans Day 11/11/09 at the Ceremony in Arlington National Cemetery. I don’t know whether the National Anthem is being played, or the Flag is going by, or WHAT, but EVERYBODY in the picture is either saluting or has his hand over their HEART.
All except ONE.
Guess who.
I do not make this stuff up!

Now I did post an actual picture of dinglebarry on the campaign trail when, for whatever reason, he did not have his hand on his heart when everyone else did. So with this latest picture I was initially thinking, “Good grief, the guy is a moron. He still doesn’t know flag/Anthem protocol?” Then I got suspicious. Dinglebarry cannot be that dumb nor that blatant, he is all about subterfuge and lies. So I looked around the Internet and saw the same pic, roughly the same text, and a lot of angry forum posts. When something is too good to be true, it usually is NOT TRUE!
Pictures can be notorious liars, well, maybe non-photoshoped pictures aren’t but the text associated with them certainly can be. I found another individual, Dread Pirate Roberts on godlikeproductions.com/forum1 who apparently was suspicious regarding the text associated with the picture and … well, I will let them tell it:
I looked around because I thought it was pretty pixilated too. I found that it was not a photo from Veterans Day but from Memorial Day 2009. I posted that on an earlier page. But there was no source for the photo. That bothered me.
Turns out, it is a true photo but not what we think. It appears to be a still from a video of the Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Obama had just been introduced and Hail to the Chief was playing, he walked onto the dais while the OTHERS were saluting. No hand on heart nor salute is required by the Chief when Hail to the CHief is played.
Dread Pirate Roberts then gave a link to the following youtube video:
There are any number of frames that you can see that Roberts is correct. For example, second 45, dinglebarry has just walked on stage and there it is. The plants are the same, the people are the same, the site is the same, etc.
Please, PLEASE! I know dinglebarry and the socialists are bad news for us, our children, and America but let’s be as sure as we can of WHY we oppose barry. Falsifying stuff does not help the cause!

The video is so grainy no one can see Obama does put his hand op or not, Is there anything with more detail?
Swiss Guy,
Thank you for your comment.
No doubt there must be a less grainy video out there of those ceremonies. I have not looked. It appears to me that Obama does not put his hands up when he came to the dais. But I agree, a better image would be more definitive. Regardless, during the playing of ‘Hail To The Chief’ the President is not required to put his hand on his heart, he would basically be ’saluting’ himself.
If you find a better video please let me know. If I run across one I will post it here.
Thanks again for taking the time to write.
Gary
Very good point, but don’t act like it’s beyond the realm of possibilities for a president to disrespect the flag when he has already done so in the exact same manner (hands folded, etc.):

Chris,
Thank you for your comment.
If you have read only 10 articles (at random) on Red Pills you would know that I would be the first to call dinglebarry on not respecting the flag as an elected official should BUT you would also know that I strive to write the truth, regardless of what my personal biases are. The truth is that the statement regarding dinglebarry not saluting the flag on Veterans Day, 2009 is bogus. You will note that also in the post, I refer the reader to the event during the campaign where he did not acknowledge the flag like the rest of the Democrat candidates did.
I do not act like it’s beyond the realm of possibilities but misrepresenting the truth is just as bad and hurts our credibility in our fight for our liberties.
Thank you.
Gary
