In my opinion, for what little it’s worth except to me, there are at least three lines in the sand, which if crossed will mean the loss of our country and chaos. These lines include: 1. confiscation of firearms, regardless of trumped up reason, 2. socialized health care, and 3. illegal alien amnesty. Think about it.
Here is J. D. Longstreet’s article dated 08/19/2009 entitled “Amnesty For Illegal Aliens On The Way Back To Congress; ‘Comprehensive’ Immigration Bill That Includes Amnesty and ‘Pathway to Citizenship’ for Illegal Aliens“:
You should be aware that if you are an American and you are an opponent of amnesty for illegal aliens now living in the United States the President says you are a demagogue.
Don’t believe me? Well take a look at Obama’s answer to a reporter’s question concerning so-called “immigration reform” which, translated, means: “Amnesty” for illegal aliens hiding (in plain sight) in the US today. Here’s what the Prez said:
“Now, am I going to be able to snap my fingers and get this done? No,” said Obama. “This is going to be difficult; it’s going to require bipartisan cooperation. {The Republicans better hold the line or here come the third-party candidates!} There are going to be demagogues out there who try to suggest that any form of pathway for legalization for those who are already in the United States is unacceptable. And those are fights that I’d have to have if my poll numbers are at 70 or if my poll numbers are at 40. That’s just the nature of the U.S. immigration debate. But ultimately, I think the American people want fairness, {Fairness to the AMERICAN PEOPLE, not illegal aliens, dumb ass.} Obama continued. “And we can create a system in which you have strong border security, we have an orderly process for people to come in, but we’re also giving an opportunity for those who are already in the United States to be able to achieve a pathway to citizenship so that they don’t have to live in the shadows, and their children and their grandchildren can have a full participation in the United States. So I’m confident we can get it done.” That, dear reader, is the President of the US speaking.
Have you stopped to consider how many millions more will pile onto the dole US taxpayers will have to support if this amnesty bill passes? 12 million is a drop in the bucket to the REAL figure, which you are NOT going to hear bandied about by this administration, nor the democrat/socialists in the Congress.
Obama and the democrat/socialists must REALLY think the average American is an idiot! Why, they are so disconnected from the reality in America today that they have no idea the odor they get a whiff of every now and again is the tar and feathers being prepared in their honor! Well, a few of the congressmen and senators attending some of the town hall meetings have felt the heat. But not enough – not nearly enough, to put the fear of God into them!
I have asked before: How is it that Washington cannot feel the anger of the average US citizen toward any relaxing of the immigration laws, especially toward the Hispanics who are flooding our country and bringing our health services, and educational services, and welfare services, to the breaking pint? How can Congress and the President not know this? How?
Common sense dictates that they MUST know this. So, why are they continuing to refuse to secure our southern border and return those illegal Hispanics, already inside the US, back to Mexico… or their country of origin? Instead, they now want to make those who are already here illegally… legal? Are they nuts???No, they are not nuts. They just don’t give a damn what you and I think, or want or NOT want, as the case may be. We don’t count. Our votes used to count – but no longer. You see, the democrat/socialists have managed to secure the votes of the less literate among us to override our dissenting votes, anyway. So, I have to conclude our vote truly doesn’t count.
Look, they have sent armies of “helpers” into the field to register “new” voters from among those whose livelihood depends on the government check they receive the first of each month. And it worked! Now, add to those legions the millions of illegal aliens who will be voting for the democrat/socialists as soon as the Obama Regime pronounces them “legal,” and you and I will be overruled at the ballot box in perpetuity.
If the Amnesty Bill is passed we will truly lose America… forever.

Ok, I can actually “see” this new post that you put up from J.D. Longstreet.

THIS is what one of my very first comments on Red Pills was referring to, he just said it more clearly than I. Voters and people who have never in their lives cared to vote, ever, were voting. THIS is how they won. By using these tactics and his “change” and “caring for poor people” rants. I got news for folks, I don’t much think he cares about them or anyone else and I hope they see that now. People are still out of work and everything else is going down hill. He pulled a fast one and got their votes to get him to where he is and the US is no better for it.
And, we the people won’t stand a chance in “H E double hockey sticks” in the future if this continues and again, referring back to one of my first comments here, this is what is gonna happen and the reason why I still keep saying in alot of comments that “he had this” from the beginning.
I end with this…..there were alot of folks who did not vote because they saw this. I saw it. I still see it now. Evidently, Mr. Longstreet sees it as well, I don’t feel so alone now. How about going and jumping on the butts or rearends of THOSE that decided to vote for the first time in their lives and that never cared to vote before that when we had all of the other Presidents over the years every 4 years? Where were those people who “voted for change” when there was a new election all of the previous years? Thousands voted for the first time in their lives this election and never cared to before. I even saw 2 elderly sisters on the news back during the election that had NEVER registered to vote in their lives but were now deciding to vote for the very first time.
How could one man pull the wool over so many eyes?

I was as opposed to amnesty for illegal aliens two years ago as I am about Mr. Obama’s current efforts to destroy America and I will be so again.
If I am to lose the country I love to socialism then I’m going down hard – very hard – even if I’m the last one standing.
I am sensing folks coming to their senses out there. Just look around; more and more folks are complaining and voicing their opposition. Folks in my neighborhood are leasing busses to take groups to D.C. on September 12. This is the first time I’ve heard of that kind of activity.
I listen to the “progressives” complaining about the mobsters at the “town hall” meetings and realize they are truly scared. When you hear people being defensive and calling names you know that they are on the ropes, figuratively speaking.
What folks are coming to realize is that with Obama and his minions it is not about the good of the country, it is about the good of the mob. Once a thug, always a thug.
I have read the entire house bill and most of the senate bill. It is not about health care reform – it is a power grab for the executive branch of the government. If it gets through, Obama won’t have to have House or Senate approval to do anything. He doesn’t worry about the courts now. He sure doesn’t worry about the Constitution. We’ll be dead.

Yup, yup Frank. It’s also true too that the ones who are truly scared and worried tend to be the bullies and thugs. Like on the playground in gradeschool……you either play their way or they threaten to beat you up or push you around. (you know, the ones to that would try and take or steal your lunch money and you end up with no lunch?)
Hmmmm….kinda like what is happening now, only different. Those little bullies just never got their rearends kicked back then and they grew up to be even bigger bullies now. Grown up bullies. Nothing was or ever has been accomplished by allowing a bully or bullies to keep you scared. Because eventually, a whole team of people on the playground (in this case, our country) are gonna fight back, ONLY we don’t fight the way they do.
Maybe they will take their ball and go home.
