MCThe illegal immigration amnesty battle continues.  Do you believe that ‘Chappaquiddick’ Kennedy, McCain, La Raza, Bush, Chertoff, U.S. Commerce Secretary, et. al. are going to roll over on this one?  This is a fight for the future of the U.S.  We must secure the borders first, then discuss what to do with the 12-20 million illegals currently in the U.S.  Do not hand out ID cards to illegals until the border is secured!  Doing it any other way will ensure that the borders never get secured.  Don’t believe me?

During the 1986 Simpson-Mazzoli Immigration Reform and Control Act debate Kennedy stated, “This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1-1.3 million illegal aliens.  We will secure the borders henceforth.  We will never again bring forward another Amnesty Bill like this.”  Yet as you can see, the borders were not secured.  Further when all the illegals were processed, according to Kris Kobach head of the immigration section under Ashcroft, the number who applied was 3 million, with 2.7 million approved, and .3 million denied for false documents.  Double the hyped 1.3 million.  Politicians (vs. Statesmen), by definition, are habitual liars and they will tell you what you want to hear regardless of the truth.  Kennedy et. al. are politicians.  Lie to me once, same on you.  If I believe you the second time, same on me.  This “No Illegal Left Behind” bill is much, much too important to believe ‘Chappaquiddick’ Kennedy or leaving it solely to the politicians in Washington.

Yet we need not even go back 20 years to support the contention that the immigration reformers are liars.  Remember the Secure Fence Act?  Before last year’s elections, the Secure Fence Act, providing for the construction of a 700-mile fence at the southern border, was easily  passed by Congress.  Yet in the May 15th Republican presidential debate, Representative Duncan Hunter, the fence bill’s House sponsor, noted, “We have $1 billion cash on hand at the Department of Homeland Security right now for building the border fence. . . . They have built two miles. I think they want to drag their feet and hook this up with amnesty.”  Hunter is right on.  Believe Kennedy at your and your progeny’s peril.

Fortunately, there are those in Washington who are not buffaloed by ‘Chappaquiddick’ Kennedy.  For example, Congressman Brian Bilbray (R-CA), Chairman of the Immigration Reform Caucus, released the following statement on 5/17/07 following the announcement of a deal reached in the United States for a “comprehensive” illegal immigration reform bill: “The ‘compromise’ announced today by Senator Kennedy will reward 12 million illegal immigrants with a path to citizenship – what part of illegal does the Senate not understand? Any plan that rewards illegal behavior is amnesty. You would think that the Senate would have learned their lesson after the 1986 amnesty debacle, but it looks like their idea of a ‘compromise’ is to repeat the failed policies of the past.”

Then there is Michael Chertoff, our supposed Homeland Secretary (where do they get these mental midgets?) who in addition to being a Kennedy sycophant, told Wolf ‘Al-Qaeda’ Blitzer, “You know, Wolf, first, I understand there’s some people who expect anything other than capital punishment is an amnesty. The reality is the proposal here requires people who came in illegally who want to stay to pay a penalty. Like a fine. That’s a punishment. That’s not an amnesty.”  First, Chertoff, no one is equating ‘anything other than capital punishment’ as amnesty, except you, you idiot.  We just want them to go home!  Why is that difficult to understand?  Second, a $5,000 fine is hardly a penalty for past services received or future benefits expected.  Not to mention that in short order, it would be declared a hardship and reduced or forgiven.  Consider, Chertoff, that the enormous cost of granting legal status to millions of illegal aliens is being wholly ignored. Nearly two-thirds of illegal immigrants are low-skilled workers. Based on a detailed analysis of the net cost of low-skill households, Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation estimates that the typical illegal-alien household receives $19,588 more in benefits than it pays in taxes each year. He explains that these costs would increase dramatically when an illegal alien reached retirement. Rector estimates that if all current illegal aliens were granted amnesty, the net retirement costs (benefits minus taxes) could be over $2.5 trillion.  Not bad for a $5,000 investment.

According to Robert Rector in a heritage.org article stated, if enacted, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA, S.2611) would be the most dramatic change in immigration law in 80 years, allowing an estimated 103 million persons to legally immigrate to the U.S. over the next 20 years—fully one-third of the current population of the United States.  How is this not amnesty and wholesale flooding of the U.S. with third-world immigrants?  How can this, in any stretch of the imagination, be good for the U.S.?

From Senator Jim DeMint, “… the little we do know about the bill is troubling. According to reports, the bill contains a new ‘Z-visa’ that allows those who entered our country illegally to stay here permanently without ever returning home. This rewards people who broke the law with permanent legal status, and puts them ahead of millions of law-abiding immigrants waiting to come to America. I don’t care how you try to spin it, this is amnesty.”

Call, fax, and write your Senators and Representative.  Tell them NOT to support the “No Illegal Left Behind” amnesty act.  We The People own America, not the politicians in Washington!

  1. Michael Chertoff should leave his post…

Michael Chertoff, the head of the DHS, is probably one of the most pretentious would-be law enforcement leaders to date, and if you saw his vicious smear of conservatives and proponents of immigration enforcement, you’ll see just how awful he really ….

  2. [...] THERE IS NO $5,000 FINE AS STATED BY MICHAEL CHERTOFF In Wednesday’s post I mentioned that Chertoff (Homeland Security Secretary) stated that there is a $5,000 which of course makes the immigration proposal not amnesty.  Well, it turns out that the $5,000 fine is only if you want to become a citizen.  If you are an illegal then you can still live, work, and play in the U.S. without paying the fine, just don’t become a citizen.  Like isn’t that the intent of most of them anyway?  DOH! [...]

  3. [...] Bush gets one right: For decades, the government failed to stop illegal immigration.  Bush gets one right.  Even after the 1986 Immigration bill which was supposed to close the borders, according to Kennedy. [...]

  4. [...] These young defenders of our borders, who risk their lives daily, apparently have not heard that the SOB will not pardoned their peers, Ramos and Compean.  Border Agents Ramos and Compean received 11- and 12-year sentences for shooting a drug dealer in the buttocks.  The young border guards apparently haven’t heard that the SOB is calling those elected officials who do not vote for illegal alien amnesty, cowards, and those citizens who oppose amnesty are scare-mongers and they do not want to do what is right for America.  They apparently don’t know that in 2006, Congress passed the Secure Fence Act, allocating $1 billion to build 700 miles of border fencing, and to date, two miles have been built!  They apparently don’t know that the SOB is pushing the “Chappaquiddick” Kennedy/McCain/Kyl/La Rasa “immigration” proposal.  They apparently don’t know that if the SOB gets his way, they and their children will be living in an America where Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation estimates that the typical illegal-alien household receives $19,588 more in benefits than it pays in taxes each year, and they will be paying the taxes.  I obviously could go on and on with what apparently they don’t know, but let’s get to what WE do know. [...]

  5. [...] I heard Doug Wright wringing his hands on his Friday morning radio show essentially saying, woes me, we don’t have legislation, any legislation, regarding the illegal immigration issue.  Doug, take a clue man, we have plenty of legislation, remember the 1986 Simpson-Mazzoli Immigration Reform and Control Act, remember all the current (though un-enforced) laws regarding illegal immigration, remember the 2006 Secure Fence Act?  Cry me a river Doug, get a grip on yourself and stop misrepresenting the facts.  Just any legislation is much, much worse than no legislation.  The problem is our politicians and their minions do not enforce the illegal immigration laws currently on the books.  Enforcement, Doug, enforcement.  Now write it on the board 100 times. [...]

  6. [...] For those who lean toward conspiracy theories consider that a week ago Chertoff ‘had a feeling’ (Chertoff is a total moron) we would be attacked by terrorists.  Consider that the SOB (Son Of a Bush) wants to continue occupying Iraq and would love to attack Iran.  Consider that the SOB has done everything possible to leave our borders open and in fact wanted amnesty for illegals, including terrorists.  Could it be that Bush and the Neocons have been lying to us to get support to stay in Iraq to “fight them over there, so we don’t have to fight them here?”  Could it all be ‘booga booga propaganda’ (BBP) (false information to scare the target audience (us) into supporting the disseminators (SOB’s) agenda?) [...]

  7. [...] Of course my fear now is who’s next.  Reportedly, Michael ‘Miami Vice’ Chertoff is a candidate.  The real question is can we survive the SOBs next AG? [...]
